A Winter Snowstorm - a Full Blown Blizzard!

Starting to snow Monday evening, and here it is Wednesday morning, and still snowing hard. But all is well .

Blizzards notoriously bring babies - and this one was no exception. Laura and Jeremy welcomed little Charley into the world last evening - during the height of the storm. Everything and everybody was in place, so all went well.......

Now we are waiting for some sunshine to melt all this beautiful snow.

Sculpting the 2009 Santa

Sculpting in Paper Mache - a slow process, as each layer has to dry. After he is finished, sealed and painted I will make a mold of latex - then a back-up mold of plaster to hold the latex mold. Only then can I pour the plaster (chalkware) and create multiple figures.
