Kinda quiet here on the farm........I have opened the barn windows , the Barn Martins will be back the last of March or first of April - depending on the weather. We welcome them - they keep the mosquitos cleared out of our valley. And they leave on the 15th of August - don't know how they know what time it is, but they do.......will be lined up on the power lines, like little soldiers, and then they are gone.
The farm is full of limbs and twigs - will be good exercise - still picking up after all the storms last summer and fall..........and today I got a good whiff of skunk - think Bear has "welcomed" a visitor. She doesn't kill anything, just wants to sniff them. Oh well, guess my lazy wintertime is ending......
